Dierdre Oram Excellent hotel although not in town centre, easy to get in and out and free transport to and from night market. Rooms on 7th floor only at present are contemporary in style otherwise traditional. Staff very polite and helpful, great breakfasts, lovely gardens and pools. Young people wanting to be in the middle of things would not find it enough life as it is busy but quiet.
Terry Morris The Amari Rincome is not very centrally located but this is fully compensated by the relaxing surrounding garden areas so excellently maintained. In any case there is a complimentary service provided by the hotel to the airport and the night market. Tuk tuk's are also readily available to take you to the city only a few minutes journey time away. The staff were absolutely first class and couldn't do enough to help us. The front desk staff in particular in recommending a charming and knowledgable guide to take us around the sites. We booked a superior room which was a good size for the two of us and up to the standard that we expect after several visits to Thailand - well furnished and well maintained. If we were to return to Chaing Mai would probably stay there again as it certainly represented overall good value for money.
Sharron Chan The staff are great -- friendly and helpful and they speak great English. The pool is pretty nice and the 400 baht massages (in your room) are fantastic, much better than any high end spa offerings.
