R Ence Chiang Mai is a wonderful place to visit. We ate at a fantastic Korena Bar beque place recommended by an employee. The help was very considerate and nice. The internet room was handy and usually open. The hotel is worn and needs a deep clean. All in all it was okay and good for the price. Thanks for a fun time.
John Scholten A big reason I booked this hotel was because of the nice photos of the swimming pool seen on their website on the Internet. I was happy to see that my room (#246) was very near the pool, but when I followed the signs there was no swimming pool in sight. In fact, had I continued out the door in the direction indicated by the signs, I would have gone through an area of missing rail and fallen 10 feet onto concrete. When I asked an employee where the swimming pool was (I thought I may have mis-interpreted the signs) I was told, Swimming pool finished! (Swimming pool gone) Make new in 3 or 4 months. Their web site needs to be updated, signs removed from the hotel, and the missing rail (part of the emergency stairway) needs to be replaced. I call this false advertising. Other than this, staff was friendly and helpful and the room was more than adequate.
Henery kuijper Hotel is far away from Night bazaar and bars,Rooms are ok,but hotel is very old, nice front desk, pool looks very green and dont want to swim in the pool, breakfast was small only Jam and thats it! Staff is friendly and Chiang Mai peolple are friendly, and much cheaper then Pattaya!!
