This was a gracious hotel with excellent staff. We had arrived on the night train from Bangkok and they invited us to the lounge for refreshments as they prepared our room. They also upgraded our room to a corner view room of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. Enjoyed their small pleasant pool + had lunch one day overlooking the pool. The on-site travel agent was also great arranging airfare to Phuket + a tour to Doi Suthep. On-site restaurants and lounge were pleasant.

I have been to Chiang Mai 3 times in winter. I enjoyed when I stayed at the Chiang Mai Grand View hotel. The atmosphere was so pure and a little cold in the early morning. The view from my room was just like the picture on the wall with mountains and green vegetation. The swimming pool was separate for adults and for children. To the Chiang Mai night bazaar it was only about 10 minutes to walk.

Clean and neat enough. Room is spacious and clean. I booked delux mountain single room, and the bed was king size, not the type of combined two single beds. My room was in front of super-way, but silent at night and thanks for sound asleep. The door of closet is incapable for smooth move, so I left it open. Shower is hot enough at early morning, but not so hot at late evening. Thay people are week on hot shower and prefer cold shower, but Japanese loves hot bathing before sleep. Refrigirator was very silent. Mountain view was good, especialy early morning at sunrise. Most of all, Chianmai Plaza Hotel and Night Bazar ware drowned in the flood but Amity Hotel is far away from the flooding river and free from trouble. No safty box is in the room, but you can use much safer safty box at the hotel front. In room type safty box is unsafe, so safty box at front is enevitable condition for me. Breakfast is averege, not so much food as Plaza but enough for breakfast. more hotel reviews...

tres tres bon rapport qualite prix, un peu loin du centrr (night market) mais 100 bath pas plus en taxi et vous rejoindrez la vie palpitante du centre ville....
Pour en revenir a l hotel , vraiment... Incredible room remote control

We spent 2 nights in this hotel on our way from Bangkok to Chiang Rai. The room was huge and had a nice view over the city (unfortunately the weather sucked when we arrived) with a touch of luxury.... quiet hotel and nice service
